Pauli (The PSM) (born Paul Stanley-McKenzie) is a British drummer, recording artist and producer. ==Career== In 2005 PSM won the Young Drummer of The Year award and appeared on the Blue Peter, performing and being interviewed by Matt Baker.〔http://www.mikedolbear.com/story.asp?storyID=3356〕〔http://www.howwwl.com/t/promo/7001〕 In 2008 PSM was appointed the role as Music Director for MOBO award wining artist Jahaziel and platinum selling artist Eliza Doolittle. PSM has also done promo work and appeared in acclaimed music videos for Duffy (singer), Jordin Sparks, Shingai Shinowa of the Noisettes, Raghav and Mutya Buena (Sugababes/MKS). In 2009, age 20, PSM started working with Gorillaz Sound System,〔http://www.mikedolbear.com/story.asp?StoryID=3356〕 which features the Grammy award winning cartoon band's music remixed to visual effects, and toured with the outfit, playing corporate club shows and headlining festivals around the world. Playing with Gorillaz Sound System was the perfect introduction to Africa Express, which led to Pauli’s contribution in the collective's international shows and the Cultural Olympiad UK train tour, playing alongside featuring legends: Paul McCartney and John Paul Jones (musician) amongst a host of African musicians including: Tony Allen (musician), Baaba Maal, Amadou and Mariam.
